More Classic Cars from yesterday, and the classics of tomorrow coning to Braking for Cars.

We’re shaking things up a little here at Braking for Cars. We’ll be focusing more on the classic cars of yesterday as well as the future classics of tomorrow, with some exotics thrown here and there just for fun. The first part and last part are easy, it’s that “classics of tomorrow” part that’s gonna be tricky. Sure, it’s easy to predict cars like the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro or Dodge Challenger will make the cut, but we’re going to go out on a limb on occasion as well. Take the Chrysler Crossfire for example. Sure, you could still nab a brand new 2008 as late as 2011 on some dealer’s lots, but that overweight, under powered “sports” car has a distinctive shape that will make it stand out from other cars of the same era that will eventually lead to its classic status. Just remember, you heard it here first.

We’ll also be revamping and relaunching a few recurring articles from the archives as well: Toy Car Tuesday, which has popped up from time to time on our Facebook page; Crash Wednesday which was a staple from my days as a road test editor at the now defunct MyRide.com; and TiBT (Throw it Back Thursday) where we find cars… or things that were cars… and you decide if you’d keep it in your garage, or toss it in the garbage.

Other changes are coming as well, like interviews with owners, full spread photo shoots and more! So, keep checking back, and feel free to let us know if there is something more you’d like to see as well.

In the meantime, stay classic, car peeps!
